Interlock repair and re-levelling

Lift the sunken or heaved section, fix the base, relay the same pavers and compact them level.

Sinking along the garage, a low spot that holds water, pavers pushed up by frost or tree roots: these are base problems. We lift the pavers in the affected area and stack them, dig out the failed bedding, add and compact granular base in thin layers, screed fresh bedding sand and relay the stones in their pattern.

Edges that have spread outward get new edge restraint. Without it the field slowly creeps and the joints open again.

Small spot repairs are often done in half a day. A full lift and relay of a driveway usually takes two to four days depending on size and access. Water should run away from the house when we're done, and we check it with a level, not by eye.
